League Policies	CANADIAN JAPANESE HOCKEY LEAGUE POLICIES (MUST READ) NOTE: This league has been running for over 50 years. The league is basically shinny with referees. It's not meant to be a competitive league but mainly league for community member to enjoy and meet other people in the community and get some exercise in the process. The Referee will not catch everything so each player is requested to play with honour. If it's not behaviour acceptable in shinny hockey then it's not acceptable in our league. You must show good sportmanship on and off the ice. If you do not then you will come under review. IMPORTANT: All players are judged by their peers and other players in the League. At any point in the season, any player can come under review if there are enough players in the league who feel any player is not playing with the culture of the league. Players will come under review by the executive and if warranted will be put on probation. If the player doesn't not conform to the league's culture then we will expel the player from the league. SUSPENSIONS: Any fighting major will be an automatic 3 games suspension. Any match penalty will be a 3-5 game suspension. Any player involved in an altercation off the ice which include the Arena area and the parking lot will be automatically suspended for 5 games. All players will come under review also. Waiver	WAIVER FORM FOR CANADIAN JAPANESE HOCKEY LEAGUE IN CONSIDERATION of the acceptance of my application and the permission to participate in the Annual Canadian Japanese Hockey League, including participation and admission to hockey games, practices, gatherings, meetings and other events ((the "League"), I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and successors HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE the League, George Bell Arena, Wayne Yamashita and all other persons, companies, groups, associations, sanctioning bodies and companies related, affiliated, sponsoring, involved, employed and contracted with the League, George Bell Arena, Wayne Yamashita, and all their respective agents, officials, successors and assigns OF AND FROM ALL from any and all actions, applications, causes of action, claims and demands (hereinafter referred to as "claims") for damages, loss, injury, costs and expenses, howsoever arising, which heretofore may have been or may hereafter be sustained by my person or property HOWSOEVER CAUSED OR ARISING OR TO ARISE, including by reason of my participation in the League, whether as spectator, participant, volunteer, staff, competitor or otherwise: whether prior to, during or subsequent to my participation and/or association with the League AND NOTWITHSTANDING that same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of any of the aforesaid. AND FOR THE SAID CONSIDERATION, I further agree not to make any claims or take any proceedings in connection with any of the claims hereby released against any other person, partnership, corporation or other entity who might claim contribution or indemnity under the provisions of any Statute or otherwise, from the person, persons or corporation discharged by this Release. IT IS FURTHER UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED that this Release shall be binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, or successors and assigns, as the case may be. I FURTHER HEREBY UNDERTAKE to HOLD AND SAVE HARMLESS and AGREE TO IDEMNIFY all of the aforesaid from and against any and all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of, or in any way connected with my participation and/or association with the League.
